Acting strange after eating
Is it normal for a snake to act kinda mopy after eating a good size dinner?
Before she ate she was very active... I guess hunting? but now she is just laying around not moving much if any at all.
What I am worried about is if I gave her something to big and it hurt her to eat it?
Would a snake know that something was just a bit to big and not eat it?

my snakes usually disappear for 2 days after eating in their hides, its normal, because the food item would hinder the snake from eluding predators etc, so its best for them to chill in their hide for a few days while they digest it. If the snake is active 1/2 days after eating you prolly need to bump up the size of the prey item. anyways, good luck, hope this helps

I would say yeah perfectly normal.
After a big meal they just want to sit back in a temp. which is comfortable and digest. I feel exactly the same after Xmas lunch.
Snakes will reject prey items when they realise they may break something while trying to swallow it. Any prey item they can phisically get down their thraots they will be able to cope with digestively as long as appropriate temps are provided.
Food items approx. equal to the girth of the snakes thickest section are the most appropriate.

Well, took her back to the vet yesterday and she got a clean bill of health! WhoooHooooo!!
I wanted to celebrate by treating her to lunch (f/t mouse fuzzy) but she wouldn't have anything to do with it. I know that during her time at the Pet Store they fed her nothing but live. Is it possible that she is expecting live? or is it just as possible that she wasn't hungry because of all the time out of her cage and everything that is.
The last time she tried to eat it was a p/k fuzzy but ended up in a regurg (see previous post)
Ideas??
Note: its been 4 weeks since she kept anything down, but very healthy and active.
