Feeding
So last week was the first week that I fed f/t and I also fed him f/t today. I thawed it till it was nice and soft. I put it in warm water for about 30 - 45 sec. I fed him in his tank. I have him on aspen but I flipped his hide over and he ate it off of it. It took him about 3-5 min looking at it and then he just picked it up and ate it. He didnt even wrap. Then he had is head there like he wanted more. Since I am new to f/t is it bad for him to eat it if it is still a lil cool? Not frozen but just a lil cool. I didnt wanna cook the mouse.

Re: Feeding
It should be at room temperature, but then warmed for a few seconds under a heat lamp (or with a warm towel) before serving.
Bonus points if you serve on a silver serving dish with garnish and a cherry in its mouth. LOL

Re: Feeding
as long as it's THAWED... it should be fine... I usually have 20 small mice and rats in a bowl and when I get to the end-ish they aren't very warm... But most of the snakes don't really care... As long as it's thawed!!!

Re: Feeding
If you want to get more of a normal feeding response, just wave it infron of it's face, and give just a littr tug before giving it to the snake and it should constrict... if you just lay it down then there is a good chance that it wont...

Yeah last week I tried that and he wanted nothing to do with the mouse till after I laid it down. I decided to switch to f/t after he never showed interest in his prey. I think that it being alive or him thinking that it is alive stresses him out. Before I switched he kept taking longer and longer to eat. He went from 2hrs to about 5 min. I think that its alot better and I think he likes it alot more.
