Confused, need help....
Okay, so I previously posted about my fire earlier this year, and that really had me freaked out. Summer is comming to an end and it is starting to cool off, and have to consider the cooler weather comming and the fact that I live in snow. I have tried to find a lamp stand for the che, to no avail, my tank is too large, 150 gal. do I need an overhead che, or are under tank methods ok, I am doing my best to avoid another fire, and don't mind telling you, I am still freaked out about the last ordeal. I was just reading other threads, and they all mentioned something about flex watt and other che nightmares, any help or thoughts would be wonderful. thanks as always, Sheila

Flexwatt would be a great under tank heat source. The RHP (radiant heat panel) is good for mounting from above for basking heat. Both need a thermostat to keep the temperatures right.
For the flexwatt, I would think a 11" x 12" would suffice. Give the guys at Reptile Basics a call. I've not used RHPs so I don't know what size you'd need.

My snake is now 2yrs old, about 5 feet, My tank is 155 gal aquarium. Not ideal, but it has worked till now. I am planning to upgrade in January. Still need to find someone to assemble it since my other half is not here at the moment, but that is all a work in progress.

I can put my hand on my rhp and not get burned.

I think you can place them right over the screen top, since they use IR heat.
