Perches help?
I am wondering if anyone has a good method of installing pvc perches in a Exoterra/Zoomed terrarium for a GTP. Aside from siliconing two sets of those closet rod sockets in there. I'm thinking of using them but dont want to glue or silicone them. Maybe theres another way? Suction cups?
Im used to using tubs and melamine which you can bolt through or screw into.
Any help would be appreciated.

Re: Perches help?
maybe some of that 3M sticky adhesive stuff? I know they have those peel and stick hooks out... Maybe you can just get the gooey stuff?

Re: Perches help?
If you go to a local craft-store you should be able to find a varying selection of suction cups.
I use them in all of my setups, even my tubs. They've huge industrial looking ones which hooks... I feed the hooks in to the perch and secure, for example.

Re: Perches help?
Go to Lowes and pick up those closet rod thingys.... oh wait you said besides that.... uhh....
What don't you like about them? You can torch them to make them look natural
You can also just silicon the perches directly to the glass. I don't know if you wanted them removable or fixed. I have both and I hardly ever take the removable ones out.

Re: Perches help?
Yea thanks Aron, I like the suction cups because I dont want the closet rod things to be permanent.

For me, it was also a winner, because you can adjust them at will, and larger, sturdier suction cups are cheaper to anchor a sufficiently large perch instead of buying another curtain-rod.
