finding reptile freindly public housing
I live in Charleston SC and was wondering if anyone here knows of Reptile friendly housing information down here? Or if there is a specific website I could check. Thanks!

Re: finding reptile freindly public housing
if you are talking about like... apartments, condos, etc... I would just call around... I doubt if there is a "list" and I know most places only specify cat and dog rules... So I would deff. call...

Re: finding reptile freindly public housing
Thanks, figured it wouldn't hurt to ask. I found out After I got Princess that my complex has a rule against owning any rep's. I kinda got the feeling that they know and are turning a 'blind eye' since i keep a low profile and am always nice to everyone.

Re: finding reptile freindly public housing
Just make sure Princess keeps a low profile too...not that she could help it being low anyway..!!! just joking!!!
If I owned the complex or whatever, I would be very suspicious of anyone living in it that did NOT have a reptile.
In fact I would have a rule: Go ahead and leave if you wish but your snake STAYS.

Re: finding reptile freindly public housing
you can't have her! MY pretty Princess! Actually she is probobly one of the best things to happen in my life since I moved to SC. I really never knew just how much personality a snake could have, and she's still just a baby at under 2 years. (estimate that she's only about 1 maybe 1.5yr) as a matter of fact, gonna give her some out time right now.

Re: finding reptile freindly public housing
Charleston is a neat city with a ton of history, my sister lives there. She's not a herp person (I got the animal gene, she got the artsy gene), but I can ask if she knows of any.

Re: finding reptile freindly public housing
Make sure when you do get a new place that you get IN WRITING that you can have reptiles, get a signed addendum to your lease. I just went through this
