I was wondering if that was why she was pink.
See I just got her, so I don't acutally know if she is ready to shed or if that is her normal color. Her eyes are pretty clear though, so I am not sure that is it.

I noticed that is does look like her eyes are cloudy in the pics, but that's just from the flash.
Still, she might be shedding. I'll let you know if she does.

HI,
Nice Looking boa, as to your questions about color, Ive seen some really differnt colors from the same parents in the same litter. the important thing is you have a nice looking boa..
Ps I 'ld be careful when they are that blue in shed ,,next to feeding accidents its the second most common cause of nips... And one that size may hurt a bit.. some peopel feel handling in shed causes some discomfort to the snake. Mine aint talking ,,they just seem a bit more grumpy..
Good luck,
Doug

Thanks!
Yeah, I wouldn't have handled her had I know she was preparing for shed. Next time I will what she looks like during that time. She wasn't actually very grumpy, but I would not chance hurting her all the same. She's a very mild mannered snake, I think she's my favorite herp now.
