Red Tail\'s fascination with my goatee??

hey all,
Something over the past couple monthes we have had the red tail is that she has some sort of fascination with my goatee or any hair on my face.
Last night we had her out and she just sorta rested her head/nose on my goatee.
I mean she has a goatee too (the black around her mouth opening), is she trying to tell me hers is better or what? lol

I think they enjoy the bristly feeling of hair. Mine like to rub on my face and sit on top of my head. Gets tiring with a 20 pound Boa on your head though.

My hog island boa seems to have a fastenation with my glasses. He ends up continually prying them off my face...not going over the top of them, but rather getting between the lens or temple and my face! Maybe he has poor eye sight? [img]modules/Forum/images/smiles/icon_lol.gif[/img] He likes to perch his head on top of mine too...not that there's a whole lot of hair there to be of interest for him! [img]modules/Forum/images/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif[/img] Does make for a very "Egyptian" look however! I had a snake once, I was handling it, and after a few minutes I couldnt find it, and after a half hour of looking, I felt him crawling out of my goatee.

so I had to cut it shorter,
I was starting to clog the shower drain anyhow.

I've got waist length hair and my snakes love to play in it. My ball will wrap his body around it and hold it like a ponytail and rest his head on the top of mine...It's funny how so many of them do that.

i also have waist long hair, and when i first got my redtail he couldnt even wrap around my neck. he used to get tangled in my hair,, well i soon learned to pull it up. well that didnt stop callisto, lol..he would wrap himself around my hairtie, and stay there like he was my hair tie. he is now pushing 5 1/2 feet long and still does it! like my hair isnt heavy enough, i need my redtail there too right? lol
