My bci susan just escaped her cage I have read all of the past posts on lost snakes and looked in all of the suggested places. I can not find her anywhere, I am freaking out because I just moved in with a new roommate and he was leary of the snake in the first place, now she escaped her cage and I have to find her before he gets back into town. She has to be around somewhere because I live in a small 2 bedroom apartment, and she is about 6 feet long. Please someone help me fast

You would be suprised where a 6 foot snake can hide. Look under and behind everything including the stove and fridge. Check any piles of clothes and on shelves as well.

Turn the couch over and check inside. Any recliuner chairs and such too.
It shouldn't be too hard to find a 6' boa in an apartment that small.

I hope you didn't leave the toilet seat up. That is an apartment buildings biggest nightmare. A Boa in the plumming. Check in laundry baskets, under pillows. Don't forget they like to climb too.

Check the coush if you have one she can even remotely get into. They love to wrap around the coils inside for some reason.... hehehe... Also, if you have a box springs mattress, look under for ANY holes.

The snake will eventually find you. Seriously, when they hide they do it right. But eventually he'll take a cruise around the place, probably in the evening, and there he'll be.

You know, i hope you didn't have an open window, forget the door open even a minute, or have vents, otherwise good luck mate! The most i can say is try leaving a heated hidebox somewhere for her or a heating pad on low in a dark place, they love the dark warm spots, that how i found a couple of escapees in my place, cept the were only bout a foot and a half.

You might also consider leaving a f/t rat out overnight and see if she comes to get it. Of ours, I know two who would not be able to resist; the others this probably wouldn't help you.

Glad to here that you found her..lol..I to live in an apratment complex. That would be a erie feeling, especially the toilet bowel incident I made sure my cage is escape proof for future references. Its a custom, and is locked up tighter than fort know now
