The last time i fed my boa the stuck at the side of the tank i feed her in
On one side of her mouth it is slightly different than what it was. Can any one tell me what is the best way to treat this if this turns into mouth rot.

Thanks

Mouth rot is usually caused by bacteria, so the best way to treat it is with antibiotics. Unless you have a vet that will give you AB's without seeing the animal, I would suggest a trip to the vet IF it develops. debride the infected area and lance & drain any abscesses. Some rinse the area with diluted betadine and then pack with silvadene.

I would try and have a look at her mouth in the next day or two and assess the damge, if any from striking the glass. Check for broken teeth or teeth piercing flesh in the mouth area.

Honestly, I've never had to resort to antibiotics to treat mouth rot unless it was left for a very long time in that condition. Anyway, since you see it now, just keep the area as clean as possible. I use a chlorhexidine solution to rinse out the mouth a couple times a day and that usually knocks it out fast. Just make sure there is no cheesey goo in there, and like J said, no injured teeth or open wounds in the gum tissue. I'd bet though its just swollen a bit from whacking the tank, I have a big BCI that does it rather often and the swelling goes down in a couple of days. Keep an eye on it, and it probably wouldn't hurt to keep the area hydrated if there is any exposed internal mouth tissue from a lip being pulled back or something - we all know how much snakes love being squirted in the face.
