My male BRB, who I really want to breed for his Amazing color tone, is totally blind. Both eyes got infected and weren't taken care of properly by the previous owner so he's totally blind. I'm wondering if his blindness would inhibit my pair from breeding? Is it possible that he just won't be that interested if he can't see 'the goods'? Anyone know?

I think it is more amatter of scent than sight.

I agree with BW, sight to snakes isn't as important as it is to us humans. Pheremones are the key for most animals

I also agree with BW. Snakes dont look back to see what they are doing.

That part was a joke guys. I figured that much. I'm wondering if his lack of sight would just affect his mood or it that doesn't even matter. Since they don't use thier eyesight too much anyways I didn't think it would be a problem.

I dont see where eyesight would matter that much. In the wild male snakes track the female down by Pheremone scent. The scent is what gets them interested even before they see the female.
