I was wondering what you guys think about this. A few babies from this litter have large , bright peach blotches on their sides and back. Its hard to tell by the picture but these are very pronounced. Any thoughts?

That looks almost exactly like my baby girl snake, Jezebel! She's got the great peach coloration, along with some pink, along her sides and a little bit on her cheeks. I was actually going to post a pic of her on here, because I have NO idea what kind of snake she is. Someone had thought that she might have some Hogg Island in her?! Also, with my girl, she's quite a bit smaller than her boyfriend (a common BCI), who's about 6 months older than she is. (He's 6' @ 3 years of age, she's only about 5' @ 2 1/2.) I know this probably didn't help at all, but if someone else knows the answer, this newbie wants to know, too!

Mine also has a lot of pink on sides and belly. Is this a common RTB? Boy there is a lot of mixing of breeds huh?

hey snakegirl, on your question, most males grown faster then females, but in the end the female will outgrow the male, it just takes longer. As long as she is eating and healthy don't worry

Not strange or rare at all... that's an essentially normal coloration... some boas aren't all that colorful when they are born but at the same time many are.... the blotchiness of the background color... gray spot then pink spot... should even out as the snake ages and the brown/yellow wash comes in...
the color is a plus though! so you should be very happy!
Good luck with all your babies, and welcome to RTH.net!
