I have moved this into the Help Me forum.
Sancho, it looks like BoaMan has set you on the right track. The only thing I can add is to check the shed skin when your snake is done to be sure the eyecaps and noseplugs came clear. Read around the other forums as well for more information that may not be covered in the caresheet.

Nothing to worry about! Boas rely on their sense of smell more than movement. Although some do like their prey to move (please feed frozen/thawed prey), if she is in blue, she will take it based on smell or she will refuse. Your best bet is to wait until after she sheds to feed her. See how she reacts. If she takes the prey right away, you should be able to feed her the next time she is in blue if it falls on her scheduled feeding night. If she prefers the prey to move (use long tongs or hemostats for this) then you may want to skip her scheduled feeding when her eyes are cloudy.
I am half asleep, I hope all that made sense, LOL If you need anything else, just ask!

Welcome to RH/RTB!
Your snake may take as much as a week after it's eyes clear back up to shed it's skin. Dont be surprised if your snake wont eat during this period. As Michelle said, please feed frozen/thawed if you are not already! Check out the "feeding" forum if you have any questions why f/t is better than live.
You have found the best place on the net for info on snakes.... there is probably more knowledge here than on all the other sites combined.... so dont be afraid to ask questions and chat with people here. We were all new to reptiles once and we all learned by asking lots of questions... many of us still do ask a lot of questions

I think this is the best web site. When I first got my colombian redtail I knew nothing. I got it for a birthday present. I had no access to the internet I never even knew this site existed. Right around the time I got the snake I started to go to college, so I said oh well let me look up the snake and see what it says. Thats when I found this site. I learned my temps were wrong the set-up was wrong everything was wrong. Now that I've been coming to this site I've learned so much about how to care for my boa. I've had the snake for over a year now with no problems. The whole point of this story is this is one of the best sites and if you stick around long enough you'll learn just about everything there is to know about keeping your snake healthy too.
