What types of boa's could I house together. I know I should not put to different types together but what if I bought two boa's of the same type from the same clutch could I house them together then. What would be the worst boa's to house together and what would be the best to house together.

Thanks

Feather boas go great together, no problems at all.

If you do buy more than one snake, spend a little bit of extra money on another enclosure, as they should not be housed together outside of breeding attempts. There's many reasons not to house them together, most of which are based on health (both physical & mental).

I can tell you that my friends were housing an Argentyine and a Dumeril together and it just didn't work. The aregentine was very aggressive which caused the dumeril to hide most of the time. They are now in seperate enclosures and everyone seems to be much happier!
I will also say this (not to upset you) be sure you are ready to take on 2 boas, since I work in a pet store I see so many people bring in boas that they were not expecting to get so big. Most don't realize that the cute little snake they are getting as a baby will become a great big baby in such a short time!
I am a firm believer that if you buy a pet then you should be dedicated to it till it lives no more! just my 2 cents worth!
I would go ahead and spend the extra money on a seperate enclosure because we all need our own space!

A feather boa is a piece of clothing, somewhat like a scarf, not an actual snake.

go to this link to look at a few

The point was don't keep multiple snakes together, same species, same clutch, doesn't matter

Well not only is the Argentine known for being aggressive like that , most of them, BUT the Dumerils is also one of the carnivorous snakes that will actually consume another snake sometimes. 2 prime reasons to not house em with other snakes, especially not with each other too. Also Dumerils love to hide and burrow , they are ambush hunters by nature. So the dums may have just been acting normal and not due to the Argentine's temperament..BUT ya never know...
