I was changing th water in my Boa's cage and she decided that she wanted to bask in the sink while I did this, so in response I made the water warm and let her stay there for a while. I know that her bowl is big enough for her to submerge in but might she just like that the sink is bigger and is this a good thing to do on a regular basis? it is fine to do on a regular basis. I bath my snakes every time they shed and every time i clean the cages. Just make sure the water doesnt feel too warm to the touch, you have to remember what barely feels warm to us is really over 100 degrees.

Welcome to RTB/RH!
It is perfectly normal for the snakes to want to soak... a couple of mine seem to be drawn to the running water. And will come down off of my shoulder or arm when I am holding them while washing their water bowl.

yeah clean out the sink well before and after. Some lingering detergents could be harmful. Specially like Comet has bleach in it. Otherwise sure its no problem at all.
