Ok here is the deal. I will be leaving for spring break on sunday morning and not getting back until Wednesday night (4 days). I was planning on leaving my bci alone for this time. Would this be too long to leave her alone?? If so let me know and I will drive her to a friends house for a sleepover, the problem is the drive will take me two and a half hours !! So if this is not too long to leave her alone I would like to know. What would be a good hot side temperature to leave at in her cage if I do leave her alone? And if she happens to defacate when she is alone would she be okay until I got back,
Thanks

Assuming that she will not need to eat, and has plenty of water, I would think she will be ok. If it was my snake though, I would have someone stick their head in and check on her from time to time. Just a yeah, still there, breathing with water in her tank kind of thing. Also, in case of an emergency, like a power outage or something, it does not need to be someone that can or will handle her, but that would be better. Just a friendly look in would make my trip more relaxed. It is your call, but that is what I would do.

clean water. I would not feed before you go, that way there may not be a boa spending 4 days with a pile. Make sure the heat works. Other than that, i have left for 2 weeks before.

If the boa's not due to poo, four days is no big deal. Like BW said, just make sure he/she has clean water before you go. If you can have someone who will check in to make sure the power is still on and such, it's a good idea. Be careful, though, you'll turn them into a boa collector, too... It's how i got started.
In terms of temps, ideally a BCI's enclosure should be kept at 86-88 degrees (Fahrenheit) on the warm end, and around 77-79 on the cool end. If you keep set up for that range, your boa should be a happy camper while you are gone.

every one here gave sound advise. its up to you.
with my current job i have lots of training seminars i have to go to, some are a day or two at the least, some are 2 weeks!
i have lots of animals in my collection, and they have spent 2 weeks alone at some points.
just NEVER TAKE ANYTHIG FOR GRANTED!
if you know you need a new bulb, or thermostat, or anything for that matter....do what you have to do.
also, if you possible can, and you have some one you trust- 4 days is nothing, but about a week in i gave a friend my keys to water every one.
good luck!
you should be okay
will
