just some general tips wanted

im fixing to build some stacked cages for my snakes.. there will be a total of 4 cages built. the bottom 2 being 6'x2' (for BCIs) and the top 2 will be 4'x2' (for BPs) they will all be 20'' tall and the xtra 2' on the top will be storage area.

im in the construction business but mostly build houses... not cages and im just looking for some DIY tips or problems some of you have come across while building your own cages.

and maybe some advice on what you all use to waterproof your cages... etc...

You can buy sheets of plastic material if you want from distributors pretty cheap.

There are a few tutorials in the How-to's/Tutorials section of this forum.
I have recently found one on Youtube that I like alot. He has it broken down into three or four phases and goes into detail about sealing and heating the enclosures. Just google Poor man enclosure and It'll be the first result.
