All my snakes have belly heat except for her. Her heat mat is on the back of her cage, and she cuddles it when necessary to digest a meal.

Poor Veronica. She's getting belly heat AND overhead heat right now in her 75 gallon. I wonder if it's too much for her. The temps are fine.

if the temps are ok then i wouldn't worry. all the stuff i keep at home gets belly heat and a heat lamp. never had a problem yet.

Would anyone recommend putting a UV light in their enclosures, so long as it didn't provide heat.. then use the tape on the bottom for belly heat? I've been thinking of doing this to help with a consistant day/night cycle.
