super hypo salmon means it IS one, het for super hype salmon means it carries the gene, and COULD(but not always) have offspring who are superhypo salmon

Nope, they surely aren't the same thing. I don't know if the second one exists or not, but if so it's a snake with a different genotype. If it's only het, the two snakes would look the same. However, if the het was bred with another het or a full albino, it would produce some albino offspring. If the normal was bred to the het it would produce no albino offspring, but some that would be het albino. Hope this helped.

I was looking at peter kahls website and on it says that they are breeding super hypo/salmon to some albino boas and it says that he will get sunglows. I thought that sunglows are a type of albino so, if thats true surely the super hypo/salmon would have to be a het for albino. or am i totally off the mark on this. Your right on Joeuk. Basiclly, hypo is a co-dominate trait. That means that I could breed a super hypo to a regular boa and get hypo boas. If in turn, both those boas were het for albino, I could then get sunglow boas. Albinisim is a recessive trait and therefore both boas must be carriers for the trait to be visible, although hypos can be bred to non-carriers and still have babies that show the trait.

Hope that clears up your question.
