Re: small white worm!!
just an idea...after she poops from this last feeding bring it in. i recommend they do a cloacal swab and check the fecal matter to be sure. if she has paratites in her gi tract then they'll show up in either one...good luck!

Re: small white worm!!
Hey man good luck, good to see you doing something about it instead of leaving it as it is like some (or most) would do, seems like for ever good keeper there are 10 bad ones, good job.

Re: small white worm!!
it'll be worth it to establish a baseline with the vet. that way if she gets sick or hurt later they'll have something to compare to and see whats different.

Re: small white worm!!
There are home remedies for taking care of parasites, but, you have to know what you're doing when it comes to identifying the parasite, getting the correct medication and making the correct dosage.
You sure it was a worm? Was it moving?
My water python had pooped like a day before I found it and some of it looked like it was covered in white little worms or eggs or something, but upon closer inspection under my microscope, they were just little teeny white urine crystals that formed on it.

Re: small white worm!!
I recently had to have my Hog dewormed. He was really skinny even when the Jason bought him. The vet told me why, hehe. Now he's gaining weight pretty well.
It was really cheap. Only $28 for the visit and about $7 for the medicine. It's also really easy to medicate them.
Good luck!

Re: small white worm!!
i just got back from the vet, everything went well she weighed in at a whopping 115 grams. the vet said she looked great, all the nurses were drooling over her beauty he gave her the deworming, told me to come back in 2 weeks for a second treatment.
