Nose rub is nothing major. It's just damage on their noses that the snakes get from constantly rubbing at the glass or screen on the side or front of the enclosure when trying to escape. This is normally caused by screen because it's more abrasive than glass. Like I said, it's nothing major and it'll go away over time.

If you have a glass cage you might need to see if the snake is bangeg its nose constantly against the glass if so you might need to try a screen cage

Screen cage for a snake? That is not a good idea. It would be pretty impossible to maintain the approximate temperature and humidity in a screen cage. It would also be unsecure and inappropiate to house a snake in a screen cage.

i have heard of screen cages being used for lizards but not snakes although the people who sell these claim that they can be. now with that out of the way
i have seen this damage due to nose rubbing. but do not have any experience with it as all of my children have never shown this paticular behavior.

I have a nylon screen cage for my ball python
Because my room temp varies from 76 at night to 81 in day, I don't have a problem with keeping temps. And the humidity in my room ranges from 50-80 (I love Florida).
It's great cus not matter how much they rub the nylon won't bother them, it's slicker than glass and has more 'give'.
