Question Corn not eating

Hi everyone,
I have a almost 2 year old corn snake...was told it was a female when i bought her. Up until 3 weeks ago she ate every week no problems at all. Then suddenly nothing...she actually shys away from her food. I thought perhaps the food item was too big ( adult mouse ) so bought some med mice but no joy. I feed out of the viv in a container and usually cover it to give her privacy. then only change i can think of is that i bought a larger hide for her. Temps are all same as ever and no change in substrate etc. The only other thing i have noticed is that she seems a lot more active lately, almost always out of hide and climbing about. Could it possibly be that she is actually a he? i have heard that males behave this way in breeding season. Any help to put my mind at rest would be really helpful..Thank you

Re: Corn not eating

She might be a he. As long as it looks healthy, just keep offering it food until it eats. Draco just went two months without eating until last week when he finally took a rat. He didn't lose any weight and acted fine, so I wasn't too worried.

Re: Corn not eating

well she/he shed about 3 weeks ago so thats doubtful and has never behaved this way during the shed process, always fed even in blue and usually curled up somewhere quiet until shed as apposed to the hyper activity lately. Thanks for the thought anyway
