Re: She's in the basement paneling
Sorry, I have to laugh at this. Only because I know what it's like. lol, ABSOLUTE HYSTERIA. When youre going a million miles an hour. Can't think, can't do, can't relax. lol. I've "lost" 2 or 3 snakes in my day. One I never got back, one I found in my shoe 2 weeks later, and the last one is more like your situation. She was actually a "rescue" if you will. But I had to scale a friend of mine's garage attic and support beams to get to her. She was a 5 ft bci. Now imagine climbing up roof supports in a dark garage attic with a flashlight in your mouth, looking for a 5 ft boa constrictor. You have no idea what the temperment is, where the snake is, (lol) or where your next hand grip is. Sounds fun right? I've since named her "Rafters".
Anyway, glad you found her.

That would be my choice as well.
Walls can be repaired a dead snake in the wall cannot.
Great I read the rest of the thread AFTER I post, dumb as usual. (kicking self in the....head)
Glad it turned out alright.

Re: She's in the basement paneling
This is actually the second time she has escaped. The last time was into the wall of my old apartment. Couldn't tear those walls down She came back though, about six months later she was hanging out under the sink!
She's doing well, thanks to everyone for the help and congrats
