Hey guys....
You know those two mexican rosies that I just got a little over a week ago? Well, the male regurgitated...
I fed him on thursday and I watched him eat. He seemed just fine! Friday morning, before I left for the weekend (I wish I hadn't), I checked all the cages and everyone was fine. Temps were also fine.
When I came back a few hours ago, I checked everyone's cages as soon as I walked in the door and found a partially digested hopper in his cage!! I freaked: I took him out, he seems Just fine, but I know that there's a concern of dehydratio, but rosies dont fare well with high humidities. What should I do?? I've never ever had this happen before. I know what to do with
BCI's when they regurge, but are rosies any different??
I cleaned his cage with bleach water and put him back in with some fresh water. I don't know what else to do from here: what are your suggestions?? What could be wrong? Could he have overheated somehow? I keep the cages at 85-90 on the warm side and 72-80 on the cool side (cooler temps are night temps).
Please help.
