its also weird that MANY people feed live rats/mice and have NO PROBLEM whatsoever regaurding their snakes health.

No, what's weird is that those people take the unnecessary risk, a high risk at that. Of course we know that the snake and the rodent involved are the ones paying the price, not the keeper.

Actually, all lizards have three eyes. I could be wrong, but all the lizards I can think of have three eyes. No snakes though.

And a bit of wisdom I have come across during my time as a snake keeper are the two HUGE BIG MASSIVE GIGANTIC rules of feeding your snake.

Rule number one(And under no circumstances should you EVER disregard this rule! This rule is VERY important! NEVER ignore it! ALWAYS do this rule!)
- Feed with tongs. Long tongs. This way, you can get crazy with wiggling and writhing and vibrating the food item to encourage your snake to eat it without the danger of getting yourself bit by accident(or malice). This is with the understanding that you feed your animals f/t or p/k food. Because NO responsible snake keeper feeds live.

Rule number TWO!(Provided you have for some reason gone completely insane, left your brain at home, or feel like being an idiot and have decided to forego rule number one.)
-ALWAYS visually confirm exactly where your snakes head is.

	Frozen/Thawed A rodent or other prey item that is frozen and then thawed to be fed to a reptile or other animal.
