Just purchased a rtb
Hello all, Im new to this site and I just purchased what I believe is a 1.5-2 year old boa (previous owner wasn't sure).
I was wondering if she is extremely small for her age as she is barely 3ft long, I don't think she was fed as regularly as she could have been.
Also, uppon holding her the first time I noticed small hard spots kind of embedded in her skin. I only noticed it on 2 parts of her body (1 was approx. 8in from her head the other closed to her tail). What could these be?I was thinking maybe scars? The guy told me his son only fed her dead mice.

but in my opinion that does sound very small because mine is about 3 months and is a few over 2 feet... does not sound right

I would boot her up to a rat instead of a mouse. I dont even feed my newborn boas mice. I start them all out on rats. if you look at it could it be stuck crusty old skin from a bad shed or 2? also could be a mouse bite wound. but close up pics of the ares in question would be the best!

Sorry guys, I couldnt get any good pics of the "spots" on her skin. Upon a second look I think they are definately mouse bites. She has a couple of scabs that are healed and starting to peel off. I think she will be much better off now!!
