Re: shippin.. how?

Move to another county. Selling snakes to a county illegally could get both parties in a bit of trouble.

Re: shippin.. how?

I can't condone illegal reptile keeping. As much as I want people to own reptiles, if you get busted more laws get passed and more counties view reptiles as criminal activity. Now if you are willing to get a good lawyer, raise awareness and do all necessary to keep your reptile should you get busted, then by all means do what you have to do. Maybe you will become a herpetoculturist Rosa Parks.

Re: shippin.. how?

alright there big guy first of all im in the military.. and have had this snake at my last command where it was allowed to have such an animal.. now i would love to see you give up one of your snakes of 3 years because the military makes you move and it so happens the place they make you move to its not alowed to keep them.. why dont you ask before you start discriminating.

Re: shippin.. how?

I am not discriminating, I would be leaving the military before giving up my animals. The decision is yours I am simply saying it is not an easy one, and I hope you think about all the repercussions if you get busted.

Re: shippin.. how?

There is no way for me, as a shipper, to know which counties are legal and the way things are transfered it would "probably" never be questioned but fedex has very stricked rules about marking your package as a live reptile. Basically, it's the buyers responsibility to know the laws and the risk lies directly on the buyers shoulders. Maybe you know someone in another county nearby.
I'm sorry, I should have thanked you first for serving your/my country. Good luck getting your reptile.

Re: shippin.. how?

1. Buyer's responsibility to ensure legal ownership.
2. Don't jump razeraze...YOU were the one that asked about illegal importation of illegal animal...his (and my) conclusions were logical.

How is this not asking for advice on how to commit a crime and get away with it? You are in the military, you can afford none of the repercussions nor should you even want to try. Been there, done that.

Sorry Raze! I did mean to minimizse what you said or especially take sides. I agree with you 100% and I admire your ethics. I just read military and kind of tuned everything else out. I truly mean no disrespect for you and after what Tom posted, I think I missed something else, I should have read first. My apologies.
