I need the worst pictures everybody has of Iguana attacks. I also would like some of burns which occured from the use of heat rocks. I need them ASAP, I have this idiot that is arguing with me that heat rocks are the best source of heat for all animals and that Iguanas do not attack there owners. So please help me out here.

This dingbat also says theres no way that there are so many Iguanas turned over to rescue or turned loose in the wild. I think this guy has a serious problem. He doesnt live to far from me so maybe I can go up and show him some manners
For the reptile rescues how many of these animals do you think you get in monthly? I want some proof to show this moron.

OOPS Just found this thread..
As for the Iggy #'s in rescue..I do rescue with them and get called on about a dozen per month. I know of other rescues that get an average of 20 or more per month needing new homes. Iguanas have teeth that arelike shards of glas in their mouths. Not only are the teeth an issue but also their tail too. The tail can leave a cut in your skin that could need stitching too if they got you really good in a tail whip. Iguanas are definately not the pet for everyone !
Here's a shot of what too hot of a heating element can do for a snake...

Another source is Reptiles Magazine. The latest issue has an article about Iggys, their temperments and some pics of their attack aftermaths.
