feeding
i have a bci that is aprox 26 in. as best as i can calculate he is about 4-4.5 months old. he has mostly been on a 5 day feeding schedule. he is long and in very good health. i tried him on a 7 day schedule he gets too hungry for that. he eats girth sized items. there was one time i could only find slightly smaller prey. one wasnt enough and 2 may have been pushing it slightly. i gave him 2. although the lump in his belly was not visible after 2 days. i would prefer too overfeed as apposed to underfeed. providing it will not risk his health. right now he is very healthy how much can i feed without overdoing it. ........thanks

Re: feeding
You need to feed one prey item of appropriate size once every 7-10 days.
Sorry that's my opinion, and once he is over 1 year old you should push that out to feeding once every 2 weeks.

Re: feeding
Thanks for your enquiry...you have received very good advice - and it's actually better for the snake's health to underfeed rather than to overfeed. A lot of people want their snakes to grow quickly so they can show them off, and it's very unhealthy for the snake and shortens its life when it is overfed or "power fed".
