possible RI
im thinking my gophersnake may have ri. he has excess mucus in his mouth and a blood tinge to his siliva. are these signs? help i have never delt with this before.

i already took him into work. ( i work for a vet ). took him in as soon as i noticed the problem which was 130 am. she took cultures and we are waiting on the results. meanwhile i have raised the temps in his cage. i should find out the results tomorrow.

Raising the temps should help and your animal could have been started on an injection of anti-biotics that will get a start on the infection until the culture sensitivity comes back. Did she take the cultures from the trachea, or just the mouth?
