Hey all...I looked for an existing thread on this but didn't see one.
My Ball Python went through a pretty bad shed recently, and even though he's OK now, he still has one of his eyecaps on.
It's been on for 3-4 days
How do I remove it?
THANKS IN ADVANCE

get a moist warm rag and gently wipe over the eyecap and it should come off, if this doesnt work soak him in warm water and then try again.

Sometimes, it's hard to get a snake to soak its head in the water, so try this..............A LITTLE plain mineral on on the eyecap. After about half an hour, take a waarm, wet, SOFT cloth and GENTLY rub it over the eyecap. The mineral oil will soften it up and loosen it so it should be no prob to get it off. be gentle

Only problem with mineral oil is it is drying to the skin, it is a manufactured oil. Use something natural like olive oil. Even if you don't get it all off (the oil) it won't dry out the skin. Be very careful to not get any oil into the heat pits!

Thanks to everyone who responded.
I'll let you know if it comes off ok, or if I have any problems with it.
