damaged scales? -pics

Hi all, my boa imperator seems to have re-occuring mites. I have been quarantining him in a large tuppaware box which is really too small for sustained use. I do this so i can treat the mites in his vivarium and him seperately without them re-infecting each other.

However i noticed today a very small white patch on the tip of his nose where he must have rubbed his scales away. He is often trying to push the lid open.

Will these regrow and recolour, or is it perm damage?

At this point, I'd say after a shed or two the area will look normal again. Correct the problem, use a larger container and keep the wound clean. A dab of Neosporin wouldn't hurt.
