Okay...I just went and bought 2 new thermos and a humi and I guess the old temp gauge on the cold side was screwed (reading 70), the new ones both read 84 (29)...I got a fish one for the cold side since it shouldnt nead to go any higher then what it does, and I got a reptile one that can go up to 100 something. Anyways...both of them are reading 84 even though one is on one side where her water is, the other is on the other side where the heating pad sits under the tank. Humidity is way up at 65-70 right now. I guess 'cause I overmisted before I left since I didnt have a gauge.

Hehe, swap them around and see if they read differently.
Either one is off or the tank is nuetral on yhe gradient.
Best way to know is to play around with them.

Reads the same no matter what. They do work though, I stuck them in the fridge lol.

Would this be okay though? I'm assuming she doesnt mind cause shes very well tempered and she's been living like this since I've had her. Plus, she does have a hot spot, which is above the heating pad, so she hangs out over there after she's eaten...I guess since it's up against the glass it just doesnt heat up that side any different...
