hello everyone.i just bought myself a young argus monitor..the tank i have,used to be a fish tank. its a triangle shape tank.so it looks good in the corner of my room..its about 32" high/42" long/.and it starts at 18" wide and adds more inches till it gets to 42" (hope this doesnt confuse you)..heres my question.i have a 24" light that was given to me.so im using this on the left side(this is the cool spot) to get the 80F-90F but im having trouble reaching those temps.i have a couple KRETTERZ thermometer gauges.it reads 70F and for the basking spot.(this is on the right side of the tank)i have a ZOO MED heating pad thats under the tank and on top of that.i have a 75w halogen light and its only reading 71F..i have a temp gun.i aimed it at the basking spot and its only reading 74F(the basking spot suppose to be close to 130)...will i need to get light bulbs with higher watts? if someone could help,that would be great,thank you
