stats for snake ownership in certain states

anyone have these? the APPMA puts out a survey annually but of course it's $500+ to buy it and i can't find it online.

i wanna know how many snakes are owned per state (only a few specific states, AL/TN/MS/FL/GA) or at the very least, how many snakes are owned nationwide. i need this information to present to legislators in an argument i'm putting together to address the need for a permit system. money talks and if i can provide data that shows how blanket bans are costing the state big money, i'll be better off.

thanks for any help
