40 Gallon Breeder would house a ball for life. I always suggest the biggest tank possible even if its a baby ball in this case. Just have at the bare minimum for a baby ball in a 40 breeder atlease 4 hides. It will be around 90$ brand new.

Price depends on what kind of wtank you want to buy, lots to choose from, rubbermaids, aquariums, or plastic cages (like vision or boaphile) all work

I don't know whe whole gallon thing, but most people say 3x1 ft floor space is enough for an adult, personally i think 3x2 is best or 4x1 with anout a foot in height.

a 40 galon breeder is 3x2. Like is said brand new around $80-$90. I prefer clear rubbermaid containers for my snakes they work great and are inexspensive. Walmart has a great selection. Some a really clear and see through also.

haha yeah i use aquariums to, but lots of people sugest rubermaids for ball pythons. like to use with a rack system or on their own, personally i think that they work better storing stuff in the garage

If you are actually interested in "tubs" as they call them. Look into them. Dont immediately dismiss them. Most breeders use them or other 'non aquarium' enclosures. Aquariums are for fish.

Personally, I have tubs and aquariums. I use what I have. Eventually, I will have Animal Plastics cages for my medium to large snakes, and tubs for my small to medium snakes. Its much easier to heat a rack of tubs, than it is to heat 7 individual tanks.

Tubs also hold heat and humidity better than glass aquariums. anyways I am starting to rant so ill stop.

The cage sizes suggested for an adult BP are accurate IMO. Good luck. Welcome to the site.
