New at this!
I'm trying to learn to take care of my son's 1 yr. prairie kingsnake-he caught it and a snake breeder est. it was about 2 months old-hatched in Sept. of '05. So...yesterday I was going to clean out the aquarium anyway and decided to clean it out before waking her up...mostly...so about 1/8 of the aspen shavings are still in the tank. I put the 2 fuzzies in with her on the empty side, she toyed with them a bit and they are still there, barely alive. I don't think she's slept a wink, just keeps going up and down the sides of the tank and has moved the shavings to the other side. I really disturbed her, and now I'm scared to pick her up and put her in another box while I clean the tank and do what with the fuzzies? She's usually a good eater and we rotate between live and f/t every 2 months or so. She's only had fuzzies a few months though. Suggestions? Please go easy on me!

Cover her tank up with a dark shirt or something of the sort. Leave her bee for a week and try feeding her again. She's probably stressed out a little.
Next time you clean her tank, you should take her out first and put her in a different enclosure.
Hope this helps!

Thanks for the help! Do I leave the fuzzies in there and just remove them if they die and don't get eaten?
