Maybe if you covered all the vent holes with towels? I honestly have no clue!!
I would say see if you can find out exactly what chemicals they use if you can and then find out if they're harmful or not. I would think if they're spot treating (in cabinets/under sinks/etc) it would be ok, but if they're going to fog the place up, I'd be concerned. Also be sure to watch out for residue afterwards!

The terminix guy sprays all exterior walls and the edges of all interior walls in rooms that do not have reptiles in them.
It may not be harmful but the technician said he doesn't feel comfortable spraying in those rooms.
I doubt this helps but I don't know more than what he tells me

The guy that comes here has been spraying my non-reptile rooms for almost 2 years(I have it done every 3 months).
After he comes I do not allow my snakes on the floor in treated rooms for a minimum of 48 hours.I vacuum each day a couple of times really well to remove any chemical residue. It has not hurt or bothered any of my reptiles as of yet.He sprays interior walls in the kitchen, bathrooms, laundry room, dining room and my entry room, the rest of the rooms are not sprayed and he then sprays the outside all the way around my house.
I would search or ask for a chemical list if you are still concerned, then do a search or call your vet and ask if any listed chemicals are harmful.
I hope this helps.
Good luck!

My new job is an Inside Sales Rep. for ServiceMaster, which is the parent comany for others such as Terminix, TruGreen-ChemLawn, American Home Shield, and Merry Maids. I can't directly speak for Orkin, but Terminix doesn't spray poisons in the house. Everything is placed in safe, out of reach areas in the home. It has little or no fumes and is registered with the environmental protection agency. I would call Orkin and ask them if they actually spray in the house. If they say yes, ask if they have any other methods. If not, call me at work 1-800-525-1934 ext.4502 tomorrow and I'll get you a price quote. We're usually cheaper (not including any discounts that I can get you) and MUCH safer. Either way, good luck!
