Hello All-
I really don't have a question more of a "is my snake really that wierd" observation. I have noticed that after my snake sheds she goes nuts.... What I mean by that is, she moves all over the cage knocks over her water dish and hides, then starts to knock on the lid as if trying to escape. She does this every month and it is pretty funny. She acts up for a day then gets calm again.
Does anyone else have a RTB that does anything like that? Just wondering if my snake is Loco or just normal....
Thanks guys, if nothing else you can get a laugh from my lil crazy one.

One of our garters is similar. He runs riot round the viv but especially has a good swim in the water bowl. We put it down to itching - if snakes get that problem

Itching....lol never thought of that..
So, how long of a back scratcher should i buy for her. She can use her mouth and scratch her back all in one clean motion...LOL

Nah, the preferred method is to glue one to the enclosure and then she can slither under it, both forwards and reverse.

The baby BCI I just got refuses to touch the bottom of his tank...he crawls from one thing to another inside the tank without coming down. He even slept curled up on the leaf of a plastic plant last nite, suspended over his water dish.
I think he just doesnt know what to make of the mulch.

My boa doesn't race around his cage much, but when you get him out to handle him, make sure you're ready to play! The kid is almost to curious about everything for his own good.
