bearded dragon biting other bearded dragon
After feeding my dragons thier crickettes and they where finished eating them one of my dragons started biting the others tail (it was raw) so i stopped it and watched it for about ten minutes and all was fine i turned around and two seconds later their at it again the dragons tail was bloody and mangled so i moved the aggressive of the two to our smaller travel cage but in the window so he was still getting heat. about four hours later i tried putting them back together and the aggressive of the two was biting the others tail again i couldnt watch, i felt bad for the less aggressive of the two so i sepearted them again its been about 15 hours any suggestions or insight would be very much appreciated -beardie

how old are they, is there a size difference, what sex are they? stop putting them together, especially since the one was getting so hurt, don't put your other beardie in the window, there's no way for him to thermo regulate and he'll cook there.

Ditto. If you house 2 lizards together for under 2 years you have to watch VERY closely...and at the first sign of a problem you sperate and leave it that way.

theyr'e basically competing for food right now, the more dominant one is going to be a lot more agressive. When they're both fully grown you might possibly try and introduce them again, but until then, don't bother.
how's the tail doing on the bitten one?

Did you get them from a pet store? Did they tell you you could house them together their whole lives? What size cage did you have them in? I know most people house their beardies seperate because of fighting and competing for food.
