Feeding spacing?? need input
I'm going to be away for 2 weeks, and the person that usually feeds my snakes is going to be gone at the same time... they usually have 7 day spacing between meals, If i feed them each than again in 14 days will this be okay? I figure it won't kill them or even be a problem but i would like some input on it

They will be fine. My snakes under a year eat once a week but can go longer. My snakes over a year old eat every 10-14 days or whenever they start roaming around looking for food. 14 days is fine. Feed them right before you leave and feed them when you get back.

You might want to leave two water bowls in there just in case one decides to poo in it, I know I wouldnt want to drink brown water. Have fun In Alaska

auto water bowl
I saw water bowls in a large store other day that has a jug attached to it... it auto fills the water as it is emptied. i think it is used for dogs n cats but i was planning to use that for my next vacation to water my snakes
i wonder if there are any drawbacks to this?

You would still have the problem of them pooing in the water a few of mine seem to do it only in there water dishes. I try giving fresh water every couple of days and they usually go drink the cool fresh stuff or at least check to see if its spiked or something??

Do yours poop in their water dishes? I know mine dont so I can just leave a nice big bowl for them when I go away...but I know a lot of peoples snakes do so I guess leaving 2 water dishes would be better! Maybe leave a small one big enough for them to drink out of, but not to soak and possibly poop in...lol.
