Help How do I care for....

a gecko we found in our backyard
Here is the story.
It's a repost from the gecko forum, I found this forum afterward and I guess I posted the original in the wrong forum. Sorry.

Hi Y'all!
My BF and I found a "lizzard" in our backyard while moving around some boxes. He being the kid at heart that he is, decided to keep it.
We had a 10 gal tank that was originally purchased to move my tropical fish across the state about 2 months ago. The aquarium had since been turned into a mouse home until the mice got out. (another one of his "ooh! Wouldn't it be fun!")
SO!
We picked up some loose rocks from the front yard and covered the bottom of the aquarium. got a stick for him to climb on and a shallow tupperware bowl for water. I went and gathered some pill bugs for food and hoped that would hold him over while we researched what kind of care he would need, and if was even possible to keep them captive.
Through my searching on the internet, I found, and am almost 100% positive that he/she is a Mediterranean Gecko. Small, pinkish and warty. Climbs all over the place, even upside down
SOO!
Can anyone help us? I have recently gone to petco, returned the mouse stuff for store credit lol and purchased crickets (Reptile Lunch Box) sand and a resin, beach entrance type pool thing that fits on one side of the ten gallon perfectly.
I will take pictures soon. I would like to get some plants for him. There is a corner on the heated side of the aquarium where I put a pile of grass from outside. I try to keep that moist because I learned they like a humid area??
Is this good??
I would REALLY like to see any pictures of set ups you guys have. What kinds of products you are using etc.
I have no lighting except natural light through the window.
He has eaten a cricket that I saw and seems to enjoy being misted with water. (the crickets are tiny and I only put 5 in) Will they die? The crickets? he doesn't seem to be hungry anymore after the one he just ate.
ANY help would be tremendous!! Thanks so much!
Kristin
