We have a red tail boa that we have had for about 9 months now and hes about 3 1/2 ft and has never had problems sheding till we got our ball python the ball's eyes turned and turned back but he was having problems sheding so we helped him out a lil and our boa would just sit there and watch us doing this then about 2 days later his eyes turned and then turned back then a week or two went by and he still didnt shed so we went ahead and helped him out two and he was getting into it we were wondering if maybe he got a lil jelous from the new baby and wanted us to help do snakes get jelous???

That is very unlikely you RTB got jealous. What is your humidity levels? Sounds like something is off if you are having bad sheds.

i agree on the humidity. we have several snakes and the only one which we have problems with is the younger bp we raised his humidity to around sixty and provide a soaking bowl big enough for him to get his entire body in it. and have had no problem with his sheds since. i would be more likely to think that the humidity in the enclosures is to low.
