It should be fine for a few days, just inspect all your cord and fixtures to make sure ya don't have any fire hazards such as bad insulation , lamps too close to flammables etc, just in case it bumps things around a bit.
Other than that the one problem I have had is my indoor breaker panel fried all of the breakers when I was out for a couple of days.

Personally, I have a thing about leaving lamps on when I'm not there. Under tank heaters I can deal with, but I've had way too many lamps do silly things like fall over, or a bulb break or something completely retarded. I have a large burn hole in my game room carpet because one of the iguana lamps, which was just fine for years, suddenly took a flying leap off the top of the cage as the bulb exploded. Ever since then, I'm just paranoid about it.

We've had no problems with going out of town for a few days, but the reptile lights are on a timer that turns the lights on and off.

I leave them alone for a few days as well, just try to leave them with the smallest amount of lights on (no daylights...) the best and safest for when your away is the ceramic bulb...
won't brake and won't bother their day night cycle...

Be sure to leave plenty of water for him as well. How long will you be away?
