Red tail wont move

My 5 1/2 foot red tail boa wont move from the spot she's in the only time she moves is to move her head to another spot she's been like this for two days now I've moved her to another spot in the tank but she heads right back to the same spot every time, do you think any things wrong?

Is that where your heat source is? Heat pad, light?

Yeah, but she dosen't even move at night like she used to always do

Well, if you don't see any signs of illness, then don't fret too much over it!
Snakes will move when they are ready to in order to thermo regulate their body temp.

By the way, what are your temps and such at?

during the day around 87-88 and at night 78-79

Oh I'm sure it's moving at night you just don't get to see it!! And then it goes back to the same place it was laying! I've found out snake's have favorite place's to lay in their enclosure's!

Hi one of my boas moves around a lot, and the other one stays in the same pot for days and days on end. If your snake eats and is healthly i would not worry about.

Also how many hides do you have in your cage? because it is good to have at least two one on the hot side and one on the cool side.

with your temps, is there a gradient? or is the entire cage 87-88 in the day? does he have a cooler spot to retreat to? -Juggalo
