okay...i have a 7ft female BCI...about the water bowl...if i had one big enough for her to soak in, under the CHE...she wouldnt be able to get under the heat...what should i do...put the water bowl on the other side

I had kinda the same situation, I am using a small kitty litter pan and I put a small heat pad under the glass right underneith it. it keeps the water just the right temp for soaking, and because it's warmer it increases humidity a tad. if you put it about 5 inches from one end of the encosure you can put another heat light on the edge, or this can be your cool spot. the only problem, is BCI usually don't like to drink warm water, so you can put another smaller water dish in there as well. depending on the size of enclosure and type ( glass aqairium, or wood?, or somthing else?) this works great. oh, yeah, and you can put your CHE on the other end of the enclosure. -Juggalo
