Lighting question

Hi

I have ceramic heaters, and nothing that produces light. However during daytime hours sunlight shines in slightly, the cage looks like sun rise or set, where the sun casts shadows over the cage. Sorry i cant think of a better way to explain it. Any ways the cage is not in direct sunlight. I was just wondering if this is enough light for my boa? Also is there really a need for a night light.

Should be more than enough. As long as the boa can tell the difference from night and day.
