i have a 8ft female redtail and a 6ft. male boa. i wa wanting to know if when the mate does it look like they are actually inserting his hemphines into the female.
my snakes have been together for about 2 months and the male has been squeezing her ever since. i cant tell if my female is swelling up for the pre ovulation, so is there anything else i can look for to tell if she getting pregnant, and if she is do i take the male out, thanks.

just leave them together until the male stops showing interest or the female sheds
her post-ov shed. good luck.

does she have enough weight for birth? make sure she's got some meat on her before you try to breed her. Unless you want to take the chance of losing her. good luck
