Last night I noticed a little swelling on the left side on my
gtp's mouth. Ofcourse it worried me and the first thing that came to mind was mouth rot. I have been using mulch for substrate and was thinking maybe he got some in his mouth at some point and that is what caused the infection. I just got back from the vet and sure enough thats what he said it is. He gave me 3 doses of bactryn( I hope I spelled that right) he told me to give one today, one tomorrow and the last 4 days from now and in between those doses I am supposed to use iodine on the area. I just wanted to find out if this was a good treatment program or if there is anything else that can be recommended also
