They come from sperate continents. I want to say this as nice as possible. Why on earth would you keep 2 different snakes in the same tank. That is just asking for trouble. Sperate them now and read some care sheets before you get another snake

I have my money on the boa! They are stronger and craftier than any carpet python I have ever seen. I give them till the first feeding, the boa will finish first and then proceed to eat the carpet python and it's rat.

probably. a large boa will crush almost every carpet python, even the largest not to mention the requirements being totally different.

Actually the requirements are pretty close in the two. But thats not the point. The carpet definitly gives up alot of mass to the boa BUT the carpet is more active. Neither(i believe) are snake eaters but NOOOOO!!!!!....do not keep them together. One is from So.Amer. and the other from Aust/New Guinnie(sp?). Sell one or get another cage. I don;t mean to bag on you but you should have asked this question before you got them(unless it was out of your control)

Pleases separate them Yes it's true Australia might not have a species of Boa but we have some of the worlds best reptile's and a dam large amount of them at that as a Taipan and Carpet keeper I love all my pets would hate to hear you have lost the carpet due to a housing problem I'm in Melbourne so drop me a PM if you need any help okay! As a temp measure put them in bags if needed to separate them for the time being until inclosures can be made if you are local I will help with tools wood etc.
