i know this has been asked, well close to my question but i wanted a little more info. so here goes. my rtb eyes have went a light blue milky color a couple of days ago. since then they look like they have cleared up. no shed they are still a little hazy so whats going on this is the first time he has went blue. skin is a little wrinkled. and he is not moving much at all i am keeping the humidity around 60-65% i put a wet rag in there on the hot side and he seems to like to stay under it. what should i expect and is it normal for the eyes to clear up i little?

Completely normal! My boas eyes will usually clear up about 2-5 days before she actually sheds. Just give em time.

time is all you need!
thats a good idea with the wet rag over the pad. that'll be like a lil' humidity chamber.
the only think i suggest is you raise the avg humidity in the entire tank to 70%
it'll be much better- plus you wont need a rag or chamber. i live in a dryer climate- so i have to keep it up that high. i may be diferent for you.
well- good luck!
will

I agree with Will. You definitely should increase the humidity in the tank. You'd be surprised how much the humidity levels affect these snakes in regards to shedding. Not to mention the down the road problems that can develop from constant bad sheds due to humidity problems. Good luck. It should shed any day now. I find that the eyes almost never completely clear up. After all, it is dead skin. He should shed any day now and go back to normal.

well you was right...he stayed under the wet wash cloth i had on the warm side and he came out rub his skin on his wood hide and it all came off in one piece eye caps and all...it is so cool it makes me feel alot better because it took him so long to go blue i have had him about 11 weeks and this is the first time he shed he is about 21 inches long. so anyways just wanted to tell you all went well. thanks for the advice...as always
